WHY I DO THIS WORK

Care that makes a difference to everyday life.

My interest in gynaecology began with the privilege of sharing in pregnancy, birth and the arrival of a new life. As my career developed, I became increasingly aware of women living with pelvic-floor symptoms that had been normalised or left unaddressed. Seeing their impact drew me towards urogynaecology.

I find this work rewarding because treatment can make a meaningful difference to someone’s comfort, confidence and independence. I particularly enjoy the precision and practical problem-solving of surgery, alongside helping patients understand their options.

HOW I APPROACH YOUR CARE

Gentle care. Time to listen.

Your experience matters

I listen to what has changed, what you have tried and what you know about your own body. You are welcome to seek a further opinion.

Your comfort and consent

We discuss any proposed examination and what it involves. You can ask questions, tell me about concerns, or ask to pause or stop.

Decisions made together

We discuss the options, their benefits and limitations, and what fits your priorities. We agree on the next step and how to review progress.

TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

Specialist care.
Additional pelvic-floor expertise.

After specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology, I completed an additional subspecialist qualification in urogynaecology. This helps me assess bladder symptoms, prolapse and pelvic support alongside wider gynaecological concerns.

I am passionate about science and continuing to learn. Current evidence, careful assessment and your experience all inform the care we plan.
