Periods and bleeding, fibroids, ovarian cysts, screening, contraception, vaginal or vulval symptoms, and care through perimenopause and beyond.
Assessment and ongoing care for painful periods, endometriosis and persistent pelvic pain, including overlapping bladder, bowel and pelvic-floor symptoms.
Leakage, urgency, emptying difficulties, prolapse and pelvic support, including concerns that persist or return after previous treatment.
Initial assessment and planning, with fertility-specialist referral when needed.
Fertility & planning →Early pregnancy, antenatal care, birth planning and recovery after childbirth.
Pregnancy care →TESTS & PROCEDURES
We discuss which tests could help and what they involve. Examinations take place with your consent; you can ask to pause or stop.
Gynaecological ultrasound and selected perineal ultrasound assessments. Bladder tests or urodynamics can be arranged when they may change the plan.
Pap smears, assessment of abnormal screening results, colposcopy and cervical biopsy when indicated.
Assessment may include an endometrial biopsy or hysteroscopy to examine the lining or cavity of the uterus, depending on your symptoms and findings.
Advice on suitable contraception, intrauterine device insertion and removal, and review of bleeding or discomfort with a device.
Some procedures need a separate booking or hospital setting. We explain preparation, comfort options and costs beforehand. Procedures, devices and laboratory services may have separate charges. See fees & medical aid →
TREATMENT WITHOUT SURGERY
Options for bleeding, pain, bladder or menopausal symptoms, chosen for your health and preferences, with review of response and side effects.
A vaginal support device can help manage prolapse. Fitting, comfort, cleaning and ongoing review are part of care.
Bladder training and practical strategies, with referral to pelvic-floor physiotherapy when helpful for muscle function, pain or recovery.

SURGICAL EXPERTISE
I offer advanced laparoscopic surgery and pelvic-floor reconstruction. We discuss the procedure, alternatives and the approach best suited to your condition, health and goals.
Endometriosis surgery, selected fibroid and ovarian cyst operations, and hysterectomy.
Laparoscopy & endometriosis surgery →Assessment and treatment inside the uterus, including polyp removal and endometrial ablation for suitable patients.
Prolapse repair, with bladder symptoms and previous surgery considered in the plan.
Prolapse surgery →Da Vinci hysterectomy and prolapse repair are available when this approach suits your needs.
Robotic surgery →Suitable keyhole procedures may allow smaller incisions and a shorter recovery than open surgery. Vaginal or open surgery may be the better choice in other circumstances. Every operation carries risks, and recovery depends on the procedure and your health.
COORDINATED CARE
I work with physiotherapists, colorectal surgeons and fertility specialists when their expertise can help. Together, we consider how overlapping symptoms or previous treatment affect your next steps.
You are welcome to come for another opinion. Previous reports or operation notes can be helpful, but you can request an appointment without them.
